August Pop Up Gallery in Ballycastle

A line up of talented makers and artists will exhibit their work in Spottens' 'Pop Up Gallery', Ballycastle, from 4.30pm - 7pm, 28th July and running until the 2nd of September


An eclectic choice of art and high craft from a selection of some Northern Ireland's best designer-makers will be on show and for sale in Spottens, Ballycastle this August.

Expect jewellery by Robert Spotten (who is celebrating his 40th year in the trade this year), delightful semi-abstract human sculptures by Jo Hatty, animal ceramic sculptures by the talented Sharon Regan, a fantastic choice of ceramics by Cula Ceramics, Malcom Murchison, and Alan McCluney. The great Irish designer Edel McBride will also be showing her latest knitwear designs.

Let's not forget the original work by artists Prof. Harry McMahon, Barry Williamson, Ashley Coulter, Les Sharpe, Robert Spotten, Joan Gibson, Nadia Kaczmarczuk and Sinead Smyth. Very different styles to cater for all tastes and please your eyes. You will love the work of Spottens' glass artists : the beautiful round shapes by Catherine Keenan glass and stained glass by Matt Pothecary. Conor Edgell's edgy and unique photography, and willow sculptures by renowned local artist Louise McLean complete the collection.

Spottens look forward to welcoming you at their pop up gallery at 44 Ann Street, Ballycastle where you will also have the possibility to book outdoor workshops with some of the artists.
